6/8 Dragon Boat Festival, Country Club Plaza.
6/9 Puppet show! All the way from Kansas City's sister city Xian China. Indian Creek Church 3PM. Address: 12480 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062. Show sponsored by The Society for Friendship with China. Admission is free will donation (suggested minimum $3-$5 per person) to Love Without Boundaries collected at the time of performance. Donations are tax deductible. Love Without Boundaries is a non-profit group that strives to bring the gifts of hope and healing to the lives of orphaned and impoverished children in China. Admission is limited to 400 persons. This event is for the entire family and for children of all ages.
